South Korea's sitting president Yoon Suk Yeol was arrested Wednesday after investigators scaled walls and cut through barbed wire at his residence, marking the first such arrest of a president in the nation's history. The arrest followed a failed attempt on January 3rd when investigators were blocked by presidential security. This time, approximately 1,000 officers arrived before dawn, equipped with ladders and bolt cutters to overcome barricades including buses at the entrance. Yoon, 64, faces insurrection charges related to a December 3rd martial law order.
