Former SafeSport Investigator Faces Serious Criminal Charges
A former U.S. Center for SafeSport investigator and ex-police officer has been arrested on multiple felony charges, including rape and sex trafficking. Jason Krasley, who previously served as an Allentown, Pennsylvania, police officer, was taken into custody Friday for alleged crimes committed between 2011 and 2015 during his time on the force. The arrest comes after Krasley's termination from SafeSport following an earlier arrest for allegedly stealing $5,500 from a police drug bust. The Denver-based SafeSport Center, established in 2017 to handle sex-abuse cases in Olympic sports, had hired Krasley in 2021 after he left the Allentown police department.
