New Orleans Attack Suspect Identified by Law Enforcement

Law enforcement officials have preliminary identified Shamsud Din Jabbar, 42, as the suspect in a deadly incident on Bourbon Street, according to four senior law enforcement officials familiar with the investigation. The attack occurred around 3:15 a.m. when a pickup truck was driven into crowds celebrating New Year's, authorities reported. New Orleans Police Department Superintendent Anne Kirkpatrick confirmed that ten people lost their lives and at least 35 others sustained injuries.
