Jase Robertson, son of “Duck Dynasty” patriarch Phil Robertson, has revealed that his father has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. The announcement was made on the family’s podcast, “Unashamed with the Robertson Family,” where Jase shared details about his father’s declining health.

Phil, who was a prominent figure on the podcast, is now unable to participate due to his health struggles. Jase described his father’s condition as a combination of a blood disease and early-stage Alzheimer’s, which has significantly impacted his physical and cognitive abilities.

“He’s really not doing well,” Jase shared. “He’s struggling.” He also noted that his father can barely walk without experiencing pain and misses participating in the podcast and sharing stories with his family.

The Robertson family is seeking to make Phil as comfortable as possible, acknowledging that there is no cure for his condition. They expressed gratitude for the prayers and support they have received.

Phil Robertson rose to fame as the patriarch of the “Duck Dynasty” reality show, which aired from 2012 to 2017. He is also the founder of the Duck Commander Company.

In 2013, Phil faced controversy after making comments about homosexuality in a GQ interview, which led to his temporary suspension from “Duck Dynasty.” The incident sparked a debate about freedom of speech and religious beliefs, with both supporters and critics voicing strong opinions.

Despite the controversy, Phil has remained steadfast in his faith and has continued to share his beliefs through various platforms, including his book “Uncanceled: Finding Meaning and Peace in a Culture of Accusations, Shame, and Condemnation.”

The news of Phil’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis has brought an outpouring of support from fans and well-wishers. The Robertson family is navigating this challenging time with grace and faith, cherishing the memories and legacy of their beloved patriarch.

While the Miami Police Department initiated an investigation following a report filed on June 11, 2023, the Florida State Attorneyโ€™s Office declined to file criminal charges in October 2023. This declination does not preclude the pursuit of a civil suit, which has a different standard of proof than criminal proceedings.   The lawsuit also details […]

Hollywood Giant Behind Matrix and Joker Files Bankruptcy After Warner Bros Feud

Village Roadshow Entertainment Group, the production company responsible for major franchises including The Matrix, Joker, and Ocean's, has filed for bankruptcy protection in a Delaware court. The company attributes its financial collapse to two primary factors: an ongoing legal dispute with former partner Warner Bros (WB) and unsuccessful investments in independent film and television production. As part of its restructuring strategy, Village Roadshow is proposing to sell its extensive film library for $365 million. Court documents reveal the company's debts range between $500 million and $1 billion. The relationship between Village Roadshow and Warner Bros deteriorated in early 2022 following the release of "The Matrix Resurrections" on HBO Max. Village Roadshow alleged that WB had excluded it from rights to sequels and prequels of their jointly produced films. Chief Restructuring Officer Keith Maib stated in court filings that "the WB […]
